My priority is to tap 'Natural Economic Zone' for North East: Prime Minister Narendra Modi...............

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Nagaland, on Monday extended greetings to the people of the state at the Hornbill Festival saying 'my priority is to tap this Natural Economic Zone for North East'.
Addressing people at the festival Narendra Modi said, " It is a great honour to be here. This festival seeks to promote, preserve and protect unique cultural diversity of Nagaland."
Mentioning the initiatives taken for  East region, Modi said, "There are SEZs in some parts. Here it is 'NEZ' - Natural Economic Zone. My priority is to tap this 'NEZ' for North East. North East made for NEZ and NEZ made for North East.
The Prime Minister said "Because of your bio-diversity, climate, people will come to Nagaland for investment and tourism. Nagaland has young population, well-versed in English, in tune with what is happening around the world, and therefore, this advantage must be tapped.
Modi added, "We have decided a special scholarships for North East students and 10,000 students will benefit. Under 'Ishan Vikas' scheme 2000 students and 500 teachers will get benefit.
Stating that this is the best destination for tourists, Modi said, "This region requires connectivity. Northeast can be 'organic capital of agricultural' and six colleges will be set-up."
Mentioning that it took Prime Minister over 10 years to visit Nagaland since PM Vajpayee visited, Modi said, " I assure it will not be so long for the PM to visit again. Will come often to meet people of Nagaland. Let us build resurgent, stronger and more prosperous Nagaland and India.
