This week HTC, a popular Taiwanese tech company kicked off a promotional campaign titled as 'Hot Deals ' in US which will go on till next nine weeks. The first week's 'hot deal' offered 16GB HTC Nexus 9 at half of its regular price. Following an unconventional route, just after a day of its launch, HTC was offering Nexus 9 Tab at $199, which is listed at $399 on Google Play.
The 'Hot Deals' promotion will be held every Tuesday at 9 AM PST/12PM EST and will last for 12 hours. The campaign tends to cover the holiday season and the company has lined up RE camera, HTC One M8 (both Android and Windows variant) and HTC Desire EYE in the upcoming deals .
Nexus 9 Tab sports an 8.9-inch screen (2048x1536 resolution)and runs on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The device is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra K1 64-bit processor and has 2GB of RAM and is available in 2 variants- 16GB and 32GB. The tablet features 8 MP rear camera along with an LED flash and a 1.2 MP front camera. All these features come packed with a 6700 mAh battery which can be used for up to 9 hours.
Considering the specifications and features of the device, in $199 it is certainly a good bargain.
