Hungary Mayor Wants Drug Tests for 12-18 Year Olds............

The mayor of a Budapest district wants to introduce mandatory annual drug tests for children between the ages of 12 and 18, as well as for elected politicians and journalists.
Kocsis said the test was aimed at "those most at risk, decision-makers and opinion-formers."
Mate Kocsis, who is also the communications director of Prime Minister Viktor Orban's Fidesz party, said in a statement published late Friday on his website that he will ask Fidesz lawmakers to debate the proposal and draft the corresponding legislation.
Kocsis, mayor of Budapest's 8th district, was behind a successful effort which in August shut down a free needle-exchange program for intravenous drug users. The program was meant to curb the spread of the HIV and infectious diseases like hepatitis C.
