LONDON (AP) British media say a man has killed a woman in a suspected act of cannibalism in a Welsh village.
The Gwent Police force says officers were called to reports of an attack on a woman early Thursday at a hostel for homeless people in the village of Argoed.
A 22-year-old woman died at the scene from her injuries. Police said officers used a stun gun on the attacker, a 34-year-old man who "became unresponsive" and was pronounced dead.
Police did not give further details, but the BBC and local media quoted residents and hostel staff as saying the woman's face had been severely injured in a cannibalistic attack.
Police say they are not looking for other suspects.
