How your mobile phone could soon be recharged in just 30 seconds............

ONE of the most frustrating things about mobile phones could soon be a problem of the past with news that an Israeli company has developed a battery with super-speed rechargeable powers.
StoreDot, whose investors include Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, claims the new technology makes it possible for your phone to go from flat to full battery in just 30 seconds — a fraction of the time it takes most smart phones to be revived.
While their current battery prototype is too bulky for a mobile phone, they expect that a slimmer version will be ready by 2016.
“These are new materials, they have never been developed before,” Doron Myersdorf, the founder and chief executive of StoreDot, said of the battery.
The technology is based around the creation of “nanodots”, which are bio-organic peptide molecules that allow for a rapid absorption and retention of power within a battery.

“We live in a power hungry world … people are constantly chasing a power outlet. StoreDot has the potential to solve this real big problem,” said Zack Weisfeld, a mobile phone analyst told Techmistory.com.
“They still have some way to go, to deal with size of battery and power cycle rounds, but if solvable, it’s a very big breakthrough.”
The downside? It would raise the cost of the handset by approximately $175.
The phone could be recharged 1500 times, so it would be usable for about three years.
Bring it on!
