With the Lava Iris Selfie 50, the Indian smartphone manufacturer has brought out one more device to cater to the selfie needs of buyers in the country. Set to be made available at an affordable Rs 7999, this dual SIM handset ships with a 5MP front-facing camera that sits beside an LED flash.
This isn’t the first time the company has come up with a smartphone targeted towards selfie lovers. Before the Lava Iris Selfie 50, it introduced its flagship called the Iris X5 in India which too has a front-facing 5MP camera with flash and bears a price tag of just Rs 8799.
Coming back to the Iris Selfie 50, its other offerings include a 5-inch IPS display of 720p HD resolution. A 2400mAh battery has been granted to the handset, apart from a form factor that measures 144.5mm x 71.2mm x 9.2mm.
Aside from the high-resolution front camera, this Lava handset also grabs an 8MP rear snapper which is accompanied by a dual LED flash. An 1.2GHz quad core processor fuels its operations from within, gaining assistance from a 1GB RAM module. 8GB of storage will be made available for users aside from a microSD card slot for added expansion.
