Indonesia escapes earthquake damage......

A strong undersea earthquake has hit Indonesia, but damage was limited and no casualties have been reported.
The 7.1 quake was recorded off the Molucca islands and strongly felt in several cities. It caused some power cuts in Manado but the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii says there is no risk of hazardous tsunamis in the aftermath of the quake.
Indonesia is located inside the so-called “Pacific Ring of FIre”, a seismically active zone where different plates of the earth’s crust meet and create a large number of earthquakes and volcanoes.
