House fire kills 5 children in Texas.......

FIVE US children have died after their mobile home caught on fire and its roof partially collapsed, making rescue attempts impossible.
EMERGENCY personnel arrived shortly after 5am on Tuesday at the mobile home in Edna, a town of less than 6000 residents southwest of Houston.
Edna fire department captain Nick Strauss said when firefighters arrived at the scene, 60 to 75 per cent of the mobile home was already engulfed in flames and the blaze only got worse after that.
Six firefighters went into the home looking for the children, but had to retreat after part of the roof came down and the structure's floor began collapsing under them.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation, he said.
The names of the children were not immediately released by authorities. Two of the children were girls ages five and six, while the three others were boys ages nine, 13 and 15, Strauss said.
The children's parents - Johnny Hernandez Jr, 30, and Annabel Ortiz, 32 - were found outside the home with another one of their children, whose age was unknown, when authorities arrived at the scene, said Jackson County sheriff A.J. Louderback.
Ortiz was taken to Citizens Medical Center in nearby Victoria, where she was listed in fair condition, according to hospital spokeswoman Shannon Spree. It was not immediately clear whether Hernandez was hospitalised.
